We are Volunteers
serving our community as a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization. No member of the Bristol Twin Cities Lions Club is compensated for their time or efforts. We rely entirely on contributors like you who are willing to donate their time, money, and resources to make our work possible. If you would like to make a difference in the communities of Bristol Virginia and Tennessee, here are some of the service projects that we're taking on this year:
Hunger
We are working with local food banks and other organizations to feed hungry children and adults suffering from food insecurity.
Humanitarian
We're partnering with Holston Habitat for Humanity to help families build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter in Bristol Virginia and Tennessee!
Vision
True to our roots as Lions, we are working with local organizations to provide free vision screenings and glasses to those in need of vision services.
Environment
We're doing our part to keep Bristol Virginia and Tennessee clean by picking up litter along our roadways.
Youth
We are proud to partner with local organizations to provide services to at-risk youth in our area. Sadly, there is an overwhelming population of children in our region who suffer from abuse, hunger, homelessness, poverty, and other ailments no child should have to suffer.
Diabetes
We also have a large population in our region of those suffering from Diabetes. We are working to provide education and services to those in need of care for their condition.
Serving Bristol Since 1959
The Lions of Bristol have been in dedicated service since 2 November, 1959. We began our service to communities of Bristol as the 'Bristol Evening' Lions Club and though there have been a few changes over the years, our presence has never faded. The Bristol Twin Cities Lions Club is honored and dedicated to the unwavering service of our community and the world. Check out some of our wonderful volunteers doing what they do best, serving our community!
